The journey is about to begin

Merry meet!
On the witches’ new year, I begin my new life, leaving New Hampshire and rolling along in Karma to South Carolina, as shown in the map on the left. I must avoid major highways because I cannot maintain the minimum speed and in part because I want to “see the USA in my Chevrolet” and not six lanes of pavement. I will drive about 100 miles a day. After my South Carolina visit, I will go almost anywhere, chasing 75-degree weather until returning to the Berkshires in April and New Hampshire in May. Tell me about festivals, witch shops, pagan pride celebrations, activism on behalf of the Mother and awesome sights of nature so that I may try to weave them into the route.
On the right is an early section of the trip – from Westfarms mall in West Hartford CT on the night of November 4 into Pennsylvania a few nights later – where I am in need of safe, flat places to park for the evening and plug in my extension cord. Nights are getting down into the 30s, seemingly all campgrounds are closed for the year, and truck stops and Walmarts will be far too cold without heat for this crone. Pyewacket, my angry cat, will be traveling with me, so I am trying to avoid hotels and adding to his stress. I will gladly read tarot cards, craft spells, discuss rituals, interview witches for this site and offer other service to the Goddess in return for help and hospitality. I can also take photos, edit copy and write short articles.
I hope to meet many of you along the way.
Merry part!
