May 4: Beltane Eve
Tonight is Beltane Eve, according to the astrological calendar. My celebration will be small. It's raining here at a rest stop on Route 40 in New Mexico, so instead of a fire in my big cauldron outside, I will light some alcohol in my little cauldron inside and keep candles going. I was blessed to find several kinds of wild flowers in the small grassy area behind my bus. I will make offerings to the land and the fae, pick up some trash, and repot my ivy tomorrow ... and maybe weave more flowers into a crown.
Right now, I'm going to make a cup of tea and prepare for sunset in 20 minutes.
Beltane blessings to all.
