October 31: Samhain Blessings

Earlier this month, I mentioned that I'd written a Charge of the Dark Goddess to include in the Mystical Magical Message packets I made. I am sharing it with you today. Now that it's the end of one cycle, the start of the next, may all your days be abundantly blessed.


Charge of the Dark Goddess

Listen to the words of the Dark Mother, who of old was called Kali, Hecate, Lilith, Inanna, The Morrigan, Cerridwen, Persephone, and many other names. Hear Me child, and know Me for who I am. I am the Queen of Magick, the patron of witches, the protector of women and children. I am the sorceress who will not be ruled. I am the ending before life begins again. I am the absence of air at the end of each breath. I am the mist in the twilight and the clouded mirror in which you scry your own soul.
Know me by the crow, the Crone, the winter, the hidden secrets, the forbidden.
When you seek wisdom and empowerment, come quietly in the night when the moon dark and listen to the silence of the stars. Look within. Close your eyes My child, swallow your fear and call to Me, for I am there, within your Darkness. To truly know Me, you must know and accept all of thyself. I do not demand that which you cannot give.
I am the forge that transforms your inner demons into tools of power.
True seekers, face the terror that is yours alone. Open yourself to My embrace and gain the key to every door, the power over self, over fear, over death. My dark cloak of protection will wrap around you; I will keep you safe and glide you through your troubles.
Your acts of magick and mystery are my rituals – the greatest of which is love, beginning with the love of self. Take My love with you everywhere you go and find the power to be who you wish.
Think of Me when you feel pleasure and I will intensify it until the time when I may have the greatest pleasure of meeting you at the Crossroads Between the Worlds.
