February 22: Birthday at the Beach

I am at my favorite beach, sitting inside Karmalita, waiting for the rain to stop before getting more time by the water and maybe another shell or two or three.

I want to thank everyone for their birthday greetings, and thank the family whose lawn I’ve been camped on for taking me to lunch. I should thank Sunshine, too, I suppose, for waking me up at an ungodly time so I had more hours to share my birthday with my biological sister and a witch sister – both who were born on this date.
