May 19: Last Night Here

It will be ten days I spent in Alamosa, nine of them in this dirt lot with huge rigs for company. There were four bolts on something to do with the exhaust that took days to extract. They had been stripped and Loctite applied. It took more than twice the time to get them out then it did to remove and replace the turbo charger. Bits broke. Batteries died. Fingers bled.

Nelson and I ate at a Mexican restaurant tonight. The food and house margarita were nothing special, however, not having to cook or clean up was special. After early morning coffee, he will go south and I will be heading north east.

I have been staying in the present moment, accepting everything as it comes. Working with the energy of the moon and planets, a more grounded me has a positive attitude for rolling into the next adventure with a healed Karmalita.
