May 20: I Lied

I am no longer saying "one more night" or "last night" because the work continues. It seems the Goddess' plan is to keep me here ... because electrical problems were found after the turbo charger was replaced. The mechanic on this job (left in photo) and the owner (right) are being thorough ... looking at everything. I am glad someone is able to spot potential problems including a bolt pressing against a coolant hose that it will eventually puncture and the fuse box cover needing to be reattached. While it means more time here I expect to leave with my faith in Karmalita restored.

I have grown roots, though. First the four days at the spa and now eleven days in a dirt parking lot. I am not fussing (as I have in the past), because I really do trust that this is all for my highest good and greatest joy. Must be a feature new of the 7.1.3 model of me.

While Pye hides under the couch most of the time work is being done, he has not struggled when I scoop him up for a snuggle, and has let me hold him on my lap for I don't know how long. He's also curled up next to me on the couch several times in the past few days. That's new, too, on that we're on the 1.4.2 version of what may be evolving into a lap cat.
