July 11: Witchy Wanderings

Today’s adventure was visiting as many metaphysical stores as possible, plus any thrift stores or tag sales we drove by (of which there were none). First PJ drove us to The Bell and Raven in Simsbury where I bought a snake ring for one of my four naked fingers. Taking the owner’s recommendation, we next went to Kismet in Collinsville. There we got a recommendation to go to The Charmed Emporium in Plainville where we had a magical conversation with Michelle Peters who gave me a copy of her third oracle deck, “Little Witchcrafts,” that I will review for PaganPages. Conversation touched on many topics, including Karmalita and her desire to travel in a similar vehicle, and vintage decks she purchased at The Mystical Shop on the second floor of Antiq’s in Farmington. It was full of so many one-of-a-kind vintage magical items it will be revisited! There I got another ring and a small deck that will be a gift. Our the last stop was The Blackbird House in Wethersfield where I bought a small deck I had reviewed for PaganPages and loved so much I wanted to gift it to someone (so I don’t want to spoil the surprise). I’m still buzzing from hours of witchy vibes.

This would be longer if Sunshine would stop climbing all over the computer…
