May 1: Blessed Beltane

Today I got to circle with three sisters I thought I’d be able to circle with when they joined the coven I was in back in 2018. Lies and drama kept that from happening, so today was extra special. Casting the circle hand to heart, hearing quarter calls I had written a decade ago, and singing the same song to honor the goddess was emotional. The energy was powerful.  And we made brooms! And broke gluten-free garlic bread sharing a meal together! I will see more sisters tomorrow at a pagan festival, so this magical energy high will continue … likely lasting until astrological Beltane Tuesday.

It was four days ago I arrived at my “home base” spot for the summer and am looking forward to doing all the things I didn’t get to do last summer when I was out west.
